Pride Of Our Rock

The same way Mufasa held Simba high above Pride Rock in the movie The Lion King, is the same way the community has been proud to hold up our boy Du-Wayne Hinds. The young actor has been working hard in England after being cast as the understudy for Simba in the theatre version of The Lion King. Congrats to you sir!

For the last couple months Du-Wayne has been busy fulfilling one of the dreams of his life. Of course, Gine On linked with the triple threat artist just before he jumped on the plane the London for some details and all around good conversation.

He shared the story of his audition process, from nerves to success and even discussed some tips that would also benefit his fellow thespians.

This boy is truly an inspirational story! Some may not know that although he is in great shape now, Du-Wayne has had his own challenges with the fitness journey. He spoke with us about that as well and reminded the public about his EP which was released in 2016!

Be sure to check out the Breathe EP by Du-Wayne right here!

Join Du-Wayne online to follow his adventures and we are fussy to see how he continues to grow.
