Barbados Olympic Swimmer
In his words, we tend to only check in with our sports people when they have won or lost a race or game. So we reached out to swimmer, Alex Sobers, after he represented Barbados proudly at the recent Tokyo Olympics. Watch this quick conversation as we learnt a bit about his experience at the big games, what kind of a person he is out of the pool and of course how he dealt with some negative media right before a race.
We encourage you to watch this video and listen to some of the things Alex shares to see what we as a community can do to help supporting our young athletes and artists as they make a name for themselves on the world’s stage.
If you like this video and the conversation we encourge you to share the link to this page so others can enjoy as well! You can also check out footage of one of Alex’s races in the Olympics along with Bajan swimmer Danielle Titus right here!
