The Artists’ Perspective

New article about the Barbados National Art Gallery on Dev’s Edge Blog

Barbados is in the process of creating its very own National Art Gallery but there is a problem, a communication issue. The island’s artists are feeling very left out and unsure of the government’s real intentions for such a project. As a result, artist Heather-Dawn Scott spearheaded a gathering outside of the current project site to understand the issues involved, and to discuss what the artists would really like from such a Gallery. This article is about the views of the artists. Here is a link to all the details.
