The first Bajans to ever go to South Africa to perform in the Pan-African Creative Exchange, and all of them is young people! These four talented youth, Akeem Chandler-Prescod, T’afari Steede, N.E.C and Cyndi Marshall, have been hand-selected to do the Creative Exchange. Not only will they be performing in front an international audience at the Vrystaat Arts Festival this June in South Africa, but communicating how cultures combine through the power of spoken word.

All that means is they will get to take Bajan culture to new heights and network with creative professionals from all over de world and show de sweetness dat is we culture. Alright good!
As these things go you know paying to fly this talent all cross to South Africa can’t come cheap. So these young trail blazers have been fundraising like crazy in the months leading up to the trip. Watch the video above to hear how far they have gotten and make sure to send some vibes across the seas with these young ambassadors as the float the power of word and culture over and away.
