A Captivating Documentary Inspired by Kasean Abrams’ Work
In Ascension is a powerful documentary directed, shot, and edited by Che Quarless, produced by DREAMSPACES. Inspired by Kesean Abrams’ artist residency at Union, the film mirrors his evocative paintings, particularly Momentum, a piece symbolizing perseverance. 
With this vision in mind, we took to the streets, capturing raw, heartfelt stories from voices often unheard. Each moment unfolded naturally, revealing resilience and truth. This journey pushed creative boundaries, reminding us of the beauty in untold narratives.
